First Stops

After spending a really cold night in the Camping World parking lot, we headed towards where we were going to have hookups … and heat. Believe me when I tell you that cheaper is not always better. The Viking RV Park in Kingsburg, CA was a place we could park, leaving the trailer on the truck and use their electricity … and stay warm. A good deal, right? Au contraire. $20 with the membership discount was way too much. Luckily, we found a more expensive, but much better park for only half again as much. Today’s take away? Cheaper is not always better. Second take away, and perhaps more importantly, remain flexible. Things may change, but if you’re flexible, everything will still work out.
