Silver View RV Resort

Silver View RV Resort sits up on a bluff overlooking the Colorado River and the town of Laughlin, NV.  The lights of the casinos out our back window really are stunning sight.

Neither of us have spent time in the desert, so maybe it’s like this everywhere, but the wind blew like I’ve never seen it,  It’s hot.  It’s dry.  It’s dusty.

The park itself is nice with a pool, spa, activities, a small grocery, and a deli.  The pool and spa were refreshing one warm evening.  Most sites are big enough for the biggest big-rig, although there are a few that are a little tight to get into for some rigs.  Our site was big enough, but there was a huge boulder which took enough space to make backing in difficult, especially with the other very large rock across the street.

The office staff was very nice and they were helpful whenever we needed something.  And, they were very accommodating when we ended up being stuck here for an extra 3 weeks because of a grey tank needing replacement.

Our space was $437 per month with taxes and included 900kwh.  We didn’t go over our allotment of electricity during our time here.
