Grand Canyon Railway RV Park

This park is a really nice park for catching the train to the Grand Canyon.  The spaces are many and are quite close together.  Although it did provide us a quiet place to sleep with full hookups, including cable TV.  There were mostly pull-through sites, which quite easily accommodated our rig, which is quite long.

After parking and getting setup for the night, we took the short walk into town to do our grocery shopping, where we found a non-frozen pizza for dinner.  At the park there’s a pavilion for picnicking, as well as 4 gas grills free for the using.  We cooked our pizza on one of the grills and had a very pleasant conversation with a New Zealander who was travelling in a rented RV with his brother and sister-in-law.

If you do choose to spend a few days here, there is a hotel associated with the RV park which has a pool that can be used by park patrons.

We would like to stay here again and to take the train to the Grand Canyon.
